Congratulations to Matthew Gleeson, whose optical image 'Lightning Wires' was selected as the prestigious SFI RESEARCH IMAGE OF THE YEAR 2015. Matthew is an MSI member and a postgraduate researcher at the University of Limerick. The image was taken as part of a PhD project under the supervision of Dr. Ning Liu and Dr. Christophe Silien at the University of Limerick.
